The NSW state government and media met today at Newcastle Interchange ahead of the Light Rail launch this weekend.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, and Transport minister Andrew Constance fronted the media answering questions about the project.
A man could be heard yelling ‘save our rail, what a great waste of bloody money, corruption,’ from behind as he entered into the train station.
Andrew Constance made the comment that since the light rail line was removed, Newcastle has seen $3 billion dollars investment into the city.
