Today in Newcastle we took our friend on four to Horseshoe beach located in Newcastle, the weather was cool, the sunset goldarn, and the beach was a perfect place for our dog to experience both sand and open water for the first time.
It was going to be a fifty fifty chance that he might enjoy both, to our surprise he spent and hour and a half exploring the shore line and dipping his paws into calm waters.
Located behind Nobbys, Horseshoe beach is Newcastle’s official pet friendly beach.
On the day we took our dog to the beach, the city was also preparing for it’s RAAF air show, which is set to take place tomorrow over the city of Newcastle.
If not evident enough, signage was placed around Nobbys beach to alert drone users that the area forbids drones.
